The integrated IDE in VS Code allows you to branch, commit, rebase... anything you can do in GitHub you can do in BlackDiamond Studio. You can extract code from your data platform and diff between your repository and the platform. In the future, you can understand the dependencies and relationships present between your code objects and your data objects. This kind of information is critical to understanding how your code interacts with your data platform.
